Frequently Asked Questions

Is your service free?

You can search and request individual downloads without a subscription. Signing in is optional and gives you access to your download history.

Which platforms can I search?

Search YouTube by song title, artist or other keywords. You can extend a search to SoundCloud using the button below the results. A direct YouTube video or SoundCloud track link also works.

What download formats are supported?

YouTube results offer MP3 audio and MP4 video. SoundCloud results offer MP3 audio.

What is the quality of a download?

Quality depends on the original recording and the available source. We deliver the available output after validating the file. Converting a recording cannot improve its original quality.

What is the maximum supported file size?

Available YouTube video files up to 25 MiB can be prepared as MP4. Larger or unavailable files cannot be downloaded. MP3 availability depends on the recording and its source.

Can I change the quality?

There is no separate quality selector. Choose MP3 for audio or, for YouTube results, MP4 for video.

Can I listen before downloading?

Yes. Choose Play on a result to open an embedded player. The player connects to YouTube or SoundCloud and may be unavailable for recordings that restrict embedding.

Can I convert a video by its link?

Paste an individual YouTube video link into the search field. After the result appears, choose MP3 or MP4. Playlist links are not supported in this search tool.

Where is my download saved?

Your browser chooses the save location, usually the Downloads folder. On a phone, check your browser downloads or the Files app.

Why is my search not working?

Check the spelling, try a shorter query and wait a moment before retrying. A search service may be temporarily unavailable or have reached its request limit.

Why did a download fail?

A source can be removed, region restricted or unavailable to the conversion service. Try again later or choose another result. An error never means that a partial file is ready to download.

Do I need an account?

An account is optional for searching and individual downloads. Use Sign in to access your download history with Google or Microsoft.

What am I allowed to download?

Only request content you own or have permission to download. You are responsible for respecting copyright, other applicable rights and the source platform’s terms.
