How to save audio from a YouTube video
- Paste the individual YouTube video link or enter a title and artist, then press Search.
- Check the video title, creator and recording. Choose Play if you want to preview it.
- Choose MP3 Download. When preparation finishes, press Download MP3 to save the completed audio file.
MP3 audio or MP4 video?
MP3 keeps the audio without the picture. It is useful when you only need a recording you are allowed to save. The MP4 option includes video and audio instead; you can choose it on a YouTube result when available.
This tool uses video links and search results. It does not accept files from your device or convert an uploaded MP4 file.
Audio quality and availability
The original recording and the available source determine the output. There is no bitrate selector or guarantee of 320kbps. Converting a recording cannot restore detail that was missing from the source.
Private, removed, age-restricted or region-restricted videos may be unavailable. Individual videos are supported; a playlist or channel link is not a request to download every recording.

Can I use a short YouTube link?
Yes. An individual youtu.be link or a standard YouTube video link works. Tracking and playlist parameters are removed when the recording is identified.
Do I need to sign in to convert a video?
No. Individual searches and downloads work without an account. Sign in with Google or Microsoft if you want access to your download history.
Can I download any YouTube recording?
Only save recordings you own or have permission to download. Source availability, restrictions and the platform’s terms also apply.
