How to download music with MP3Juice

Start with a recording you own or have permission to download. MP3Juice can search YouTube and SoundCloud or look up an individual recording from its link. You do not need to install an app or create an account to request one download.

Find the right recording

For a general search, enter a song title and artist on the homepage. A more specific phrase is useful when several recordings have similar names. Check the uploader and title rather than assuming the first result is the version you want.

If you already found the recording on its original platform, copy the individual video or track URL and paste it into the search field. A YouTube playlist, a SoundCloud set or an artist profile is not an individual recording.

The homepage searches YouTube first and can load SoundCloud results below it. The SoundCloud downloader searches that source directly, which is useful when you know where the track is hosted.

Preview the result and choose a format

Choose Play on the result to open its platform player. Check the recording before preparing a file. A preview can be unavailable if the creator or platform restricts embedded playback; that is different from your browser failing to save a file.

Choose MP3 for audio without a picture. A YouTube result can also offer MP4, which contains video and audio and is limited to available files up to 25 MiB. SoundCloud results offer MP3 only. There is no separate quality or resolution menu.

Prepare the file, then save it

Keep the page available while preparation is running. If you return to the same recording in the same browser tab, the page can reconnect to its recent request. An expired file needs to be prepared again.

  1. Choose MP3 Download or MP4 Download on the recording. The result shows preparation progress.
  2. Wait for Ready to download, then press Download MP3 or Download MP4. Selecting a format alone does not save a file.
  3. Check the browser download list. If your browser asks for a location or confirmation, complete that step and wait for its transfer to finish.

Using a phone or computer

On Android, use your browser’s Downloads list and then the device’s Files app. On iPhone or iPad, check the browser’s downloads and the Files app. A saved MP3 is a file; it is not automatically added to a streaming subscription library or your photo collection.

On a computer, the browser usually saves to Downloads unless you changed that preference or selected another folder. Installing a browser extension is optional. This website does not require a native Android APK or desktop application.

Optional history and help

Sign in with Google or Microsoft if you want to view your download history from the account menu. History helps you find past requests; an expired file in history may still need to be prepared again.

If a request fails, note whether the problem happened during search, preparation or the browser’s final transfer. That distinction helps you choose the right troubleshooting step.
